This is a project about the world of objects. Shoes as an object, they are an essential item in human life. I will focus on the aspect of function that shoes are defined by. While ordinary casual shoes are defined by their owners, I have chosen barista's shoes and badminton shoes. For my study of tactile vision, I focused on filming the signs of use on the shoe's surface: scratches, stains, etc. The film tells the story of the shoes that are given a specific identity and working in a working environment, but are still in the life they aspire to. It aims to criticise the exploitation of labour and the neglect of its value under capitalism.
